Spay & Neuter

Performing a spay or neuter is a method of surgical sterilization which helps to avoid major health issues, reduces pet overpopulation, and can even prevent some behavior issues too. Dental Procedures
Our primary care veterinarians perform routine dental procedures including professional pet dental cleanings, tooth extractions, oral mass biopsies, and simple oral repair surgeries. For more complex dental needs, your pet may be referred to a specialized veterinary dentist.
Mass Removal
As pets age, masses can develop anywhere on or in their body; these masses can be anything from a minor unsightly annoyance to signals of life-threatening disease. One of the first steps in treating any mass is determining what exactly it is. This can be accomplished through a biopsy. In some cases, removal of the entire mass can also serve to provide a diagnosis. Veterinarians across our network can provide these surgical options and help to guide you through these procedures.
Fracture Repair
Bone fractures in pets unfortunately occur for a variety of reasons, just as they do in people. This can be a concerning situation for any pet owner. If your pet has experienced a fracture, we recommend seeking veterinary input from your family veterinarian or the nearest emergency hospital, depending on the severity of the injury.

Gastropexy
Sometimes performed on large breed dogs, a gastropexy procedure is designed to prevent GDV/bloat. While most often used as an emergency surgery in response to bloat, some owners of large breed dogs opt for their pet to undergo preventative gastropexy which they may be able to access through their primary care clinic.
Surgical Removal of Foreign Object
Many primary care clinics are equipped to handle simple foreign object removal surgeries on pets. Depending on the object, its placement, and health status of the pet, a trip to an emergency vet hospital may be required. Within the primary care setting, the most common removal procedures are performed when objects are lodged within a pet’s skin or their gastrointestinal tract.
